Pony Kids

Kate Barton

Hi my name is Kate Barton and I love horses more than anything else. I am 13 years old and I compete in the Large Ponies. My pony’s name is Forrest and he is a 9 year old welsh pony. He is a beautiful chestnut and is super cute and silly. I also have another horse named Catapult who is a super duper cute Dutch warmblood. He was my first horse ever and he is so sweet and good to me. My short term goal for this year is pony finals but long term goal is to one day do the big eq and go to all the big equitation finals. I am from Oxford Mississippi and train and ride in Collierville TN at Autumn Chase Farms. I could not be more excited about my partnership with southern equestrian! They are such a great role model in the equestrian community and can’t wait to work with them!

Maggie Booth

Maggie Booth has been competitively riding ponies and horses since she was 6 years old. She had her first ride at three years old, when her mom bought her a lesson package for her birthday, and she never looked back! Maggie is now 13 and rides and trains in Marietta, Georgia. She is an honor roll student at Mabry Middle School and is also active in her small group at Northpoint Community Church. Maggie finished the 2017 show season as the local Champion of Medium Ponies and Reserve Champion of Schooling Ponies for the Georgia Hunter Jumper Association. She was also awarded the 2017 Mary Skvara Highpoint Hunter award for the Cheryl & Co show series in Georgia, where she also won year-end Champion for Medium Ponies and Schooling Ponies. For 2018, Maggie and Georgia have already qualified for USEF's Pony Finals to be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.  She and her pony, "A Spoon Full of Sugar" (AKA 'Georgia') have an indelible bond that is evident in their outstanding performances. But more than anything, Maggie and Georgia like to hang out together and eat Twizzlers, go for rides in the fields, and generally be goofy. Maggie is honored to represent the Southern Equestrian label, and will wear it proudly at Pony Finals! #SoEquProud #PonyFinals2018

Amelia Ferrick

Hi! My name is Amelia Ferrick, and I am very excited to be a part of the Southern Equestrian family! I have been riding at Oak Creek Equestrian Center since I was 7 years old and I just turned 13!  We recently purchased a large pony named "Picturesque Sunday Edition" aka Bennie. We plan on showing in the Large Pony Division and 12-14 Equitation at GHJA local shows and I am excited to start attending A rated shows as well. My goal one day is to attend Pony Finals! One of my biggest accomplishments is at GHJA finals 2017 I placed 2nd in the Pony Medal class out of 18 with my pony at the time "Talk to the Tail" aka Willow. I can't wait to help promote the amazing company, Southern Equestrian!

Mikayla Jardina

Hi! My name is Mikayla Jardina and I am so excited to be a part of the Southern Equestrian Ambassadors Team! I am 15 years old and I ride at Crooked Creek Farm in Milton Georgia. I have been showing competitively for five years but I started riding seven years ago.  My favorite place to compete in is HITS Ocala. My biggest accomplishment is receiving first place in the GHJA medium pony derby at finals 2017 on my old pony, Point of Grace, aka Grace.   My family just bought our large green pony named Salem’s Life of Riley after leasing him for a year! We compete in the large pony divisions and are qualified for Pony Finals 2019! Riley and I can’t wait to help promote the Southern Equestrian Lifestyle!

Rayna Lipsky

Hi, My name is Rayna and I am 9 years old. My pony is named Pocket Aces or Annie”. We show in the 11 and under equitation and also the Short Stirrup division. In 2017 we were Reserve Champion for GHJA in 11 and under equitation. I was also awarded the sportsmanship award for the Cheryl & Co show series.  I am on the Honor Roll at school, and while I am hearing impaired I never let that stop me from reaching my goals. I really love horse showing and galloping Annie in the field. I have been a long time fan of the Southern Equestrian product because of the positive message they send to riders, and also the clothes are super comfortable. I am looking forward to a great 2018 show season with Annie and the  Southern Equestrian team.

Madelyn MacLarren

Hi, my name is Madelyn MacLarren and I am 10 years old. I moved up to horses this year and now own a 16.3hh AQHA gelding named Let Me Be Frank. His favorite pastimes are midday naps and snuggling. We will be competing in local Hunter/Jumper shows, 4-H, and AQHA shows. I will also be joining my barns IEA team in the fall. I recently found out I was accepted to Central Magnet for middle school which is the #1 ranked school in the state of Tennessee! Although there are a lot of changes and new adventures this year, I am excited for all of them and so thankful that I will get to share the journey with my Southern Equestrian Family!
